Even for those who are pretty (or handsome) posing can make a difference in how "photogenic" you look. Many people don't know these really simple tips. So what does that mean for most of us, maybe we're better looking than we thought - we've just never learned how to pose. Here's a dirty secret - many photographers are camera shy. I never "ran" from a camera but never really liked having my own photo taken. But I took my own advice, and have a few shots of myself I like - and many people have mentioned how "relaxed and comfortable" I look - the first steps to being "photogenic."
So here's four simple steps you can use to get better photos whether being done by a professional or a friend:
1 - turn a bit from the camera
2 -put the foot further from the camera behind your forward foot
3 - put your weight on the back foot
4 - relax, and breath.
